SALLY Higgins and Gary Peters combined well for a Four Ball Aggregate Stableford win at the Gloucester Veteran Golfers outing on Tuesday 16 December.
The event, sponsored by Gai and Greg Falla, was played in cool and cloudy conditions and managed to attract a good field accordingly.
The winners were Sally Higgins and Gary Peters with a combined score of 69 Stableford points. They were followed by ball winners Derek Bardwell and Paul Griffiths 68, Karen Howarth and Peter McIntyre, Gai Fall, and Max Shepherd 66.
The best individual score was turned in by sponsor Gai Falla with a hefty 39 points.
The Nearest-to-the-Pin trophies at the 4th and 13th holes were won by Sally Higgins and Max Shepherd while Ele Fraser and Trevor Sharp were closest at the shorter 6th and 15th holes.
On Tuesday 23 December the Gloucester veterans were due to play an Individual Stableford sponsored by Max Shepherd with another Individual Stableford due to finish up their competition year on 30 December.
