WHAT a gala time was had and enjoyed for the Lady Bowlers Gala Day, the weather was fantastic, for the visitors from Old Bar, Wauchope,Manning Point, Wingham,Taree West and Bulahdelah as well as 10 teams of local Gloucester Bowlers took to the rinks for a mixed 4s Event over 3 games of 10 ends. After the challenge of playing 3 different opposing teams the “champions” rose to the top with 2 Gloucester teams, both with 3 wins and 50 points,and going to margins, the team of Suzanne Cross,Joy and Steven Hurworth and Jeff Kellie defeated the team of Penny Gibson,Bev Murray,Bruce Wilson and Tony Tersteg and coming in 3rd, a team from Manning Point on 29 pts, Di and Ian Woolard with Linda and Ron Gulliver. Congratulations to all winners and those who played and made for an great day, also those who helped behind the scenes, organizing,officiating, cooking, dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s for all to enjoy the day.
