Road reconstruction works on King Street, Gloucester

THE first stage of road reconstruction works on King Street, Gloucester is complete and the newly sealed section is now open to traffic.

Motorists can now access a portion of King Street at the Railway Street end.

This also reestablishes parking outside MidCoast Council’s Customer Service Point on King Street.

Road reconstruction works are continuing on the remaining section of King Street towards Ravenshaw Street.

Motorists are asked to continue following traffic control directions and signage around the work area.

The King Street reconstruction includes drainage improvements, stabilisation of the road pavement and a new road surface.

These works are being delivered as part of Council’s Capital Works Program.
