THE Gloucester Golf Ladies enjoyed an Individual Stableford event last Wednesday, 23 September, happy to see the sun after the rain of the day before.
Lesly Harrison continued her good form with a handicap-busting score of 40 points. She was joined by her playing partner and runner up, Margaret Dunn, just a point behind at 39 points.
Both won prizes supplied by Dale Rabbett, the sponsor for the day.
The great scores continued to the ball rundown with Susie Higgins scoring 39 points, just missing out on the prizes by a countback; she was followed by Gai Falla 38 and Myrelle Fraser both 38.
Debbie Sate took out the Nearest-to-the-Pin prize on the 4th and 13th holes, with Margaret Dunn showing why she scored so well by being closest at the 6th and 15th holes.
This Wednesday, 30 September, the Gloucester Golf Ladies will play a Four Ball Multiplier and the following Wednesday, 7 October there will be an Individual Stableford as their Medal Play Off.
