Women’s golf wins for Fraser, Falla and Davies

THE temperature was rising and the course drying out for the Gloucester Golf Ladies weekly game of golf on Wednesday for the last of the Women’s Golf NSW Medal rounds distinguished by wins for Myrelle Fraser and Gai Falla and a Hole-in-One for Carolyn Davies.

Division 1 was won by Myrelle Fraser with a score of 76 net, beating Karen Howarth on a countback.

Division 2 was won by the ever-consistent Gai Falla with another great score of 71.

Both won prizes from Killer Graffix. Balls went to Rhonda Nightingale and Susie Higgins, 75, with Karen Howarth, 76 and Carolyn Davies, 77, on a count back.

The putting competition was won by Carolyn Davies with 27 putts, to claim a voucher from Forest of Play.

The Nearest-to-the-Pin prize on the 4th and 13th hole was won by Moya Harris, with Cheryl Goodrich taking the prize for Division 2 on the 6th and 15th hole.

Carolyn Davies hit her first ever Hole-in-One on the 6th hole, stopping to take a photo to mark the event.

This week the Gloucester Golf Ladies will play a Monthly Medal.
