THE Gloucester Golf Ladies won another pennants contest on Monday 13 April, playing at Port Macquarie against Tallwoods. It was another close affair with Gloucester winning 3 matches to 2, with Deb Sate, Gai Falla and Carolyn Davies winning their matches.
On Wednesday 15 April, it was a perfect day for golf with the course drying out to give some run, and the Gloucester Golf Ladies turned in some great scores.
The event, an Individual Stableford, was won by Liane Markey with an outstanding score of 44 points. Liane narrowly beat Lesly Harrison who also handed in a great card showing a score of 43 points. Balls went to Lesly Harison and Susie Higgins who had a handicap-matching score of 36 points.
Dale Rabbett won the Narest-to-the-Pin prize on the 4th and 13th holes, while Evelyn Blanch was on target to take out the prize on the 6th and 15th.
On Wednesday 22 April, the Gloucester Golf Ladies will be playing an Individual Stroke sponsored by Carolyn Davies, part of their WGNSW Medal for 2026. The following Wednesday they will play their Four Ball Better Ball Championships sponsored by Amanda Robertson.
