AFTER Gloucester VIEW Club’s dual birthday celebration was cancelled due to severe weather and flooding last month, belated festivities will be held at their Tuesday, 17 June meeting.
“Members will celebrate 36 years of supporting disadvantaged Australian students while fostering lasting friendships and, at the same time, celebrate VIEW Australia’s 65th birthday – both wonderful achievements,” said the club’s Bev Maybury.
Laura Fraser from Wesley Mission is the meeting’s guest speaker.
The celebration kicks off at the Gloucester Country Club at 11:00am for an 11:30am start.
The cost is $25 payable at the door (cash only).
Attendees are encouraged to wear a touch of blue to honour the “Blue Sapphire” theme.
