THE was a near capacity field of golfers for the Knowla Stud-sponsored Four Person Ambrose at the Gloucester Golf Course last Saturday, 27 September, with the top team of Dave Saunders, Mark Garner, Ben Veitch and Paul Thibault turning in a great score of 56 net.

The weather was cloudy early in the day making way later for pleasant sunny conditions to match the quality of the course and mood of the many players.

In third place was Kieran Laurie, Brian Whale, Scott Pearce and Michael Fraser whose 58 needed a count back to separate them from the leading ball winners, Shane Crichton, Roy Crichton, Nathan McInnes and Brian McInnes 58. They were followed by two family teams Jamie Andrews, Sally Andrews, Mitch Andrews and Will Andrews 59, and Paul Blanch, Doug Blanch, Jackson Blanch and Evelyn Blanch 60.
